Astrodatabank at Astro.com
Posted under astrology
I am a huge fan of Astro.com and a subscriber of their “Personal Daily Horoscope” service. And now, I hear that Lois Rodden’s wonderful “Astro-Databank” is now available— a collection of 35,000 well-known charts with the information source noted, so that you know whether the time is reliable, or in question.
The Astro-Databank wiki publishes the huge collection of astrological data collected by Lois Rodden and her cooperators, so that these data can be used for astrological research, for astrological publications and for serious astrological discussion.
The access to the data for these purposes is free of charge.
Astrodienst is committed to preserve the idealistic spirit of Lois Rodden and to continue her work. The Astro-Databank has been transformed into an open wiki project. We are now forming a community of volunteer data collectors and maintainers, who will expand and maintain this uniquely valuable collection of astrological information in the future.

wow, that’s pretty big news. one of the reasons I invested in virtual windows on my mac was so that I could have access to the astrodatabank software. this certainly makes accessing this info much easier.

I know, Jeffrey. So exciting. I never purchased AstroDatabank, never had the space in my budget. But I always wanted it. So generous of those folks to make it available for free.
