Bad Astrologers: Sara Freder, Jenna, Angela Curtis
Posted under astrology
Some websites offer fraudulent astrology and give horoscopes and astrology a bad name. They should be known, and we use the popularity of Astro-Databank to make them known as what they are.
(And Molly contributes the popularity of her blog, such as it is.)
Such fraud “astrologers” place a lot of paid google ads, and sadly some very good astrology websites and astrology blogs try to make a small income by placing google ads on their pages. By showing these ads, they help the fraud sites to find new victims.
Please see:
- Sara Freder
- Jenna aboutastro.com
- Angela Curtis
You may want to search any of these names on google. Be prepared to find lots of victim reports.

I failed to research Jenna at AboutAstro and I rec’d a report that had dates (i.e. like the date I contacted her) which were incorrect, which meant obviously that I had been “had” by a fraud. I paid $60 US dollars for a report that I tossed into the trash because I knew it was a fraud. I recommend that others research astrologers before they plunk down their hard-earned cash. Lessons learned!

Well, Molly, I just saw google ads to aboutastro.com on your own page. It was titled ‘Free Moon Astrology’ and leads to fraud ‘Jenna’, one of the worst, and the one who constantly tries to suggest he is at astro.com when he really runs aboutastro.com
Regards
Alois

Thanks for the heads-up, Alois. Oh yes, I see it. I just went into Google and blocked the URL.

Hi Molly, you may also want to block pasqualina.com which comes out of the same house as Jenna.

Thanks, Alois, I did that one too.

There are a lot more “bad” astrologers out there and not just the ones that offer nonsense psychic spiritual advice. I had horrible experiences with [deleted] and [deleted]-just horrible in the customer service dept. Horribly RUDE! They seem to think that because they had the person’s chart in front of them, they knew more about the person than the person did! I live with myself 24 hours a day and when someone tells me something that is wrong about myself I have a need to correct them and they need to listen and take this information into account. Thank God for astrologers like Julian Lee who actually LISTEN to their clients.

Thank you, brownin. But I do not want to have negative feedback about real, practicing astrologers who are making an honest living. Just because they were not your style does not make them bad astrologers.

I’m not defending bad astrologers here, they’re bad and creepy, it’s a sad thing.
Seems like you’re attacking three really common Marketing tactics:
-placing google ads
-offering free info to get an email address
-drip marketing (sending e-mails every 2-4 weeks)
None of these things makes someone a “Bad” Anything, they are all just common & high turnover ways to attract business. For some people these are their marketing strengths, some of those people are “good” and some are “Bad”. The consumer needs to do research and customers need to voice their opinions.

Umm... no. You need to read again. I run Google ads on my site, so obviously I don’t think they are bad. And I didn't say anything about marketing tactics. It is not the marketing I object to, but misleading, manipulative, and fraudulent business practices.

Hi. I have read this about bad astro. And I have experience of Sara Freder. For years ago i had one free reading and thats good, but then times go I had more and more letters from her, because I didn´t answer and payd for more. the mail was not nice at all.. if I dont answer (and pay a lots of money) that and that should happen to me.. and so on.. I should miss a lots of money, what I could win if I just payd in and get the number she could get to me.. and so on and on.. it was NOT a nice tone in the mail, more like a treat.
I hope you all can understand my scool english, I´m from sweden up in the north.
love and light to you.
