Posted under lifeWarning— the video above is not at all exciting, and probably not entertaining either. But if you would like to hear me talk about my resident Monarch caterpillars with some not-so-soothing live cicada music in the background, this is the movie for you.
The beautiful and talented Zoe awarded me with the Nice Matters Award. Not, as I thought on first glance, the “Nice Manners Award.” Which is good— I think manners are overrated. Why? Because I grew up around folks who were well-mannered but not loving or kind.

Oh My Goodness.
I really like this video. Hehe! Funny.
I feel an affinity to these butterfly-to-be-pillars. Sometimes I feel like I’m clinging for dear life to a flimsy but nurturing stem. I can only hope there is a Benevolent Force such a Molly up there that won’t spray me, either!

p.s. thank you very much for passing the Nice Manners Award on. Very Sweet. I’m excited—teaching my first class in two years on the 22nd. Woot! Hopefully I’ll get a good group going. Too bad you can’t be there. It’s a lot of funnnnn.

Excuse me. “Nice Matters”…that does look scarily like nice manners. Shows how brainwashed I am by our pseudo-polite society.
Why does that remind me of the Ani Difranco song “Pixie” ?
