Nicole writes: I’m a Pisces with Venus-Mercury also in Pisces. Venus rules my Asc., and my 8th house. Money has been reallty tight lately, and I’ve become stressed out about it alot. I have no appetite, and really don’t sleep much. Virgo rules my 12th house, and I’m going to be honest: I’m really scared once Saturn is in my 12th.
Nicole, it’s ok to be scared. Transiting Saturn is where the work is. Saturn in the 12th house is all about facing your fears about money and whatever other unconscious bugaboos are there. Do the work, and you’ll be all clear and ready to kick some bee-hind when Saturn crosses your Ascendant. Meanwhile, you have got to take care of yourself. You have the power to make this transit easier or harder by the way you manage the stress. Sleep deprivation and poor eating are not a good start! There are several gentle and safe herbs and supplements you can use to sleep better. Have you seen a health professional about this, or your appetite?

Hi! I’m Capricorn (Mercury, Sun and Mars)Libra rising as you Nicole. I’m also worried about transit Saturn on my 12th house/Virgo. And I have Uranus conjunction with Pluto there! Please talk more about the transit of Saturn on 12th house/Virgo.

WORRIED about SATURN transiting the 12th, well now, doesn’t that sound exactly right. You could use the time to meditate on how you will be yourself as you move away from the world’s limelight for the coming years as Saturn makes its way to the IC.

I am really thankful for the valuable advice. When I think of Saturn, I just think DEATH, and horrible things. The fear is still there, and I am thinking of studying some spiritual techniques[like meditation] to deal with all of this terror I’m feeling.

Nicole, that’s great. Saturn is death and endings, and the 12th house is what you fear. So you are working the pattern, my dear. The astro tells us what's there. Your choice is to let the fear overcome you, or to deal with it. You are dealing and working with it. And that will pay off in the future, no doubt about it. Fantastic job!!
