That’s my “gravatar.” That’s short for Globally Recognized Avatar. It appears whenever I comment on a blog that has gravatars enabled. I just set up my site to recognize them.

Unfortunately, the Gravatar website is getting a facelift right now. Otherwise I’d send you right over to create your very own gravatar. I’ll check on it every now and then, and post a message here when it’s back up and running and accepting new submissions.
