Also in Love matters. The problem now is that my Venus is in Virgo. Am i going to be alone again the next 2 years????

I just cant be more depressed!!!!

Victoria honey, you have been through some very difficult transits in the past 2 years. Not just from Saturn, but also from Neptune. So it’s no wonder you’re feeling frustrated. But you are reading the astrology of it in an unhealthy way. If you perceive yourself to be Saturn’s victim, then you probably will be miserable long-term. But Saturn transits can be very good if you have the right attitude about them.

I remember Saturn transiting my Sun. It was HARD! I lost a very valuable relationship, lost my job more than once, lost friends, had no money. The list goes on.

But there was a good side— Saturn sobered me up. After Saturn transited my Sun, I started to study astrology, which helped me understand myself. And that understanding started me on the road to changing my miserable reality. My first astrology teacher, Lance Ferguson often says, it’s better to be the agent of change than the victim of change. Saturn transits impose on you the choice— are you going to admit you could have done better and work on yourself, or will you continue to suffer? What’s it gonna be? With Saturn, I realized my crummy situation was my own fault. But that also meant that I was in charge, and I could decide to continue on a miserable path, or change my course.

So how does one change her course? I think it starts with accepting and making peace with the fact that you’re not perfect and never will be. That’s a toughie. You’re a Leo, and I’m a Leo Moon, and I understand intimately how painful it is for Leo to embrace her weakness. But it immediately frees up a lot of creative energy.

With transit Saturn conjunct your natal Venus, the question is, are you going to take responsibility for creating the relationships you want, or are you going to cry and feel beaten and defeated? Are you going to blame your friends, your parents, the planets? Or are you going to try to understand why you made the decisions that led to your unhappiness. If you understand yourself, you become wiser. You don’t make those same mistakes again. And that is how, inch by inch, you change your life.

Nowadays, when I see a Saturn transit coming, I say to myself, “time to get to work.” I read the planet being transited and expect to be tested there. So I get going in advance. When Saturn entered Virgo, I started getting organized. I am working on managing my time so that I can work more effectively and get more done in less time. Because I realize that can be an issue, and if I let myself go now, serious problems are likely to arise. Saturn square my natal Saturn goosed me to take better care of my health as well.

Nowadays, I kind of like Saturn transits. I relate to Saturn as a father figure who guides me by making obvious my wrong turns, not a cosmic bugbear out to make my life miserable. Yeah, it’s hard, but I learn so much during Saturn transits. And they are not anywhere near as hard as they were before I understood Saturn.

Under a Saturn transit to Venus, the emphasis is not on the partner you get, but the partner you are. Become the person you want to marry. Become the person your dog thinks you are. :) Focus on being a good partner— confident, mature, stable, trustworthy, helpful, emotionally available, good-hearted. Focus on being the best Leo with Venus in Virgo you can be— generous, creative, modest, helpful, practical, caring. Your lower tendencies— petty criticism, perfectionism, insecurity— learn to manage them. You can’t rid yourself of them (trying to would put you back in perfectionist mode), but you can refuse to let them drive the bus.

As time passes, as you become wiser, you’ll attract the right partner to you, as if by magic. You have a wonderful chart, some very interesting transits coming up, and I know you can have a happy life, but you have to create it. It’s not going to just happen.

I think things will start to shift for you— in a good way— by the beginning of 2008. Meanwhile, get to work! Good luck.
