More transit Saturn conjunct Pluto in Leo

If you were born in the time period roughly between 1938 and 1956, you have Pluto in Leo. This means that at some time between Summer 2005 and Fall 2007, Saturn either has transited, or will transit, your natal Pluto. If you were born in 1944 or early 1945, Saturn is very near your natal Pluto this Summer. If you were born between 1945 and 1954, Saturn will conjoin your Pluto by the end of the year.
What does it mean? Read my previous entry on this to catch up.
The word “transit” essentially means, “where the planet is today.” When a planet transits your birth chart, you feel a “tug” in that area of your life. The slower the transiting planet moves, the stronger the transit. It plays out differently for everyone, depending on the natal planet’s location by sign and house, and its relationship with other planets in the chart.
Saturn will transit my Pluto-Mercury conjunction in Leo in the second house.
My husband died suddenly last October. His will has gone into probate, lots of things tied up in it and now a kid who may or may not be his son, is contesting the will.
My husband and I have a 13-year-old son as well.
Is this transit going to do me in financially?

Hi KJ,
I am very sorry for your loss.
I don’t know if the events around this transit will “do you in“ financially. I hope not. But if it’s any help, it’s very normal to be thinking of issues of survival and confronting the incredible vulnerability that you feel when Saturn transits your Pluto.
Mercury represents the mind, and a Mercury-Pluto conjunction in your natal chart is a sign of a powerful, penetrating mind, and intense, at times obsessive thinking. Pluto is the darkest darks, but also the lightest lights. Saturn adds a helping of “heavy” and predisposes you to negative, pessimistic thinking. So those wheels start spinning and before you know it, your mind is a runaway train.
A Saturn-Mercury transit requires mental discipline and boundaries. I’m not saying this is all in your mind. I am saying you can make it better or worse for yourself by the thoughts and ideas you choose to focus on. It sounds like you may be focused on the worst case scenario.
My suggestion to you is to put your mind on a diet. Of course you have to deal with what’s going on. But you can limit the amount of time you spend thinking about dark or scary things, and give yourself at least one serving a day of profound, positive, uplifting thoughts. In this world that seems so dark, there is still light to be found. “Chicken soup for the Soul“ type stuff, or Dalai Lama. Whatever’s up your alley. Just keep the murder mysteries, crime shows, stuff like that to a minimum. You might even cut out TV news.
This may help get you in a more positive frame of mind, which should help a lot in the challenges you’re facing. Your son also suffers from your being this fearful. So if you won’t do it for you, do it for him. You will deal. You will get through this. You will survive.
I hope this helps.

Saturn transiting natal Pluto
I have this aspect coming to fruition in my chart at this time. I am a student of a Tibetan Buddhist Lama (Sogyal Rinpoche) and have recently embarked on a 3 year ‘home’ retreat with 2,800 other of Rinpoche’s students from around the world.
In reading Molly’s advice to ‘put your mind on a diet’ I wanted to offer some information about the home retreat in case this may resonate as an activity that would suit some other readers.
It entails from 1 to 4 hours per day of study and practice (depending on your level of commitment) as well as receiving transmissions over the internet from Rinpoche while he is teaching at his main monastery in the south of France. (Lerab Ling)
It is open to new students as well as those who have been following Rinpoche’s teachings for some time.(he is the author of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying)
The closing date for registration is September 1st – not far away! – and if you are interested, you can look up a Centre near you at our portal – www.rigpa.org – and make enquiries.
I offer apologies if this information offends anyone but for some reason, I felt compelled to write and honoured it.
Best wishes,
Linda in Sydney, Australia

Hi Nicole-
I wouldn’t worry too much about a transit to the N. Node. Contacts to the node tend to bring positive connections.
I will say that indulging in fear such as this can be very destructive for you and your child. If you continue to study astrology, I think you would be wise to find a guide to help you interpret charts in a less negative and worried way.
Molly thank you so much for your support! I“ve been stressed since the death of my Grandmother last September, so I’ve been having fears of loosing those I love. I know I need to calm down. I just get worried sometimes! Again molly thank you for your patience:)
Hi Molly,
My partner has the following planets which form a t-square in her natal chart.
pluto in leo 29 deg in the 4th house
saturn in scorpio 28 deg in the seventh house
moon in pisces 5 deg in the tenth house.
given that saturn will be heading toward pluto after its present retrograde motion, what can she expect as saturn conjucts pluto and hits up her natal t- square. What is the best way to handle this dynamic and how can i best support her and look after myself in the process.
please advise molly,
yours in peace, love and light.
