Venus retrograde begins today
Posted under astrology
..and already I have connected with an old friend. My friend Mick, who hails from England. We met online years ago by way of our mutual interest in the Tarot. Mick also taught me a lot about the I-ching. (I almost spelled it iChing— goes to show I have logged way too many hours on my Mac.)
Update: I just found out that Mick has a website! Visit to learn about astrology, dream interpretation, tarot and i-ching.
I liked Mick so much that I introduced him to Christine, a local friend who has psychic gifts and reads Tarot. Together they came up with this article: A Tarot Reader Talks Astrology. I had it posted on the old incarnation of this website, but somehow I managed not to republish this one until now. A very welcome blast from the past.
Thanks, Mick and Christine!

Venus retrograde stories so far:
My husband’s ex (and he only has two) contacted him because she saw that I had mentioned his name on an Amazon account (no idea), she wanted to apologize for how she treated him!
I went to the orthodontist to finally correct my bite from 14 years ago when I had braces for 5 years. I got mixed news..the good news is I don’t have to wear metal braces (whew—I HATE those) and will have those clear Invisalign things that go over your teeth and you take them off when you eat, etc. The bad news is it will cost over 5 thousand dollars to do it and insurance won’t cover it. Medieval braces also cost about the same amount.
Oye. Oh well. If I don’t do it, I’ll eventually lose that tooth due to the pressure from the crossbite, so I want to do it, but I am not thrilled about the financial implications. Still…I try to remain optimistic.
Hope your Venus retros are going well.
XOXO

I’m not sure what Venus Retrograde is supposed to mean; but, if it has anything to do with reuniting with someone from the past, it almost happened today at the grocery store. The guy looked so much like my son’s dad, whom we have not seen in two years… I was about to tell him he may have hell to pay… The hurt came up all over again and it wasn’t even the same guy. Do I get my $200,000 back and do the other women and children go away?

Yes, that does sound like a Venus retrograde thing. (Venus rx is over now, but we’re still in the shadow.) I have been through enough divorce and drama to know how exquisitely painful it is, and I'm so sorry you and your son are going through this.
I don’t know about the money, but the other children are unlikely to go away, ever. But that doesn’t mean you have to be unhappy, Teri.
Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Let it go, Teri. I'm not saying that's easy to do. It may take years. But your son deserves a happy mom, don't you think?
